Logistics Companies to Get 50% Urban Land Use Tax Cut for Warehousing Facilities

Companies in the logistics sector are now entitled to a 50% reduction on the urban land use tax relating to their bulk commodity warehousing facilities. The implementation of this policy has been backdated to 1 January 2017 and will extend to 31 December 2019. Any such tax paid prior to the announcement will be refunded or deducted from future tax liabilities.

The move was announced in the Circular on Continuously Implementing the Preferential Urban Land Use Tax Policy on Land Used by Logistics Enterprises for Bulk Commodity Warehousing Facilities, which was jointly issued by the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation jointly
