Argentina’s AD Probe of Certain Chemical Mixtures Moves Forward
Argentina has decided to proceed to the final phase of its antidumping duty investigation of mixtures containing tetrafluoroethane and pentafluoroethane as well as mixtures containing difluoromethane and pentafluoroethane, classified under NCM 3824.78.10 and 3824.78.90, from mainland China. No preliminary measures have been imposed, however.
Canada Makes Determination in AD/CV Sunset Review of Aluminium Extrusions
The Canada Border Services Agency has issued a final affirmative determination in its expiry review of the AD and CV duty orders on mainland Chinese aluminium extrusions classified under HTSCA 7604.10.0030, 7604.10.0040, 7604.21.0010, 7604.21.0090, 7604.29.0011, 7604.29.0019, 7604.29.0021, 7604.29.0029, 7604.29.0030, 7608.10.0010, 7608.10.0090, 7608.20.0000, 7610.10.0010, 7610.10.0020, 7610.10.0030, 7610.90.1010, 7610.90.1020, 7610.90.1030, 7610.90.1090, 7610.90.9010, 7610.90.9020, 7610.90.9030 and 7610.90.9090. If the Canadian International Trade Tribunal issues an affirmative injury determination, these AD and CV duty orders will be renewed for an additional five years. If, on the contrary, the CITT issues a negative determination, the orders will be rescinded. The CITT determination is expected by 13 January 2020.
Argentina Issues Results of AD Anti-circumvention Review of Fans
Argentina has determined that certain fans classified under NCM 8414.59.90 that are produced and exported by Taiwan’s Myfactory Industry Co. Ltd. are not circumventing the AD duty order on subject merchandise from mainland China.
