Glossary: TiSA

The Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) is a proposed international trade treaty aimed at liberalising the trade in services like banking, telecom, technology and logistics. At present, 23 economies representing 75% of the world’s services market, namely Australia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the EU, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Lichtenstein, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the US, take part in the TiSA negotiations.
