Eco Expo Asia
WHAT: This global trade platform for the environmental protection industry showcases the latest green products, equipment and technology. The Expo gives the green industry business-to-government (B2G) and business-to-business (B2B) opportunities, with strong support from Hong Kong, Mainland China and international government authorities and industry associations. Key highlights include the Eco Asia Conference, which addresses environment issues and proposes new ways forward; seminars and product presentations which offer a chance to approach industry players and buyers; business matching sessions and a start-up zone.

WHO: Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.
WHY: The Asia-Pacific region has the highest climate-based smart-investment potential in the world, according to the International Finance Corporation. The green building sector leads the way, with an estimated US$17.8 trillion in opportunities by 2030. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development offers innovative green employment, investment and entrepreneurship opportunities. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government is boosting its waste reduction and recycling efforts. The 2018 fair drew 338 exhibitors and 14,824 trade buyers. The HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) and HKTDC Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo take place at the same time.
