HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair video

WHAT: Under the theme “Reading the World,” the fair will feature specialised zones such as the General Books Pavilion, International Cultural Village and Chinese Mainland Publishers, as well as e-Books & e-Learning Resources.

WHEN: 19-25 July 2017

WHO: A record-breaking more than a million visitors attended last year’s fair, making it one of the city’s top destination events. The annual event promises to again be a favourite summertime attraction for families and students.

 

The 28th HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair will be held from 19- 25 July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Travel will be the central theme, with an international lineup of authors scheduled to attend

 

WHY: Some 350 cultural events were held in connection with last year’s fair and this year, with the support of the British Council, the English Reading and Creative Writing Series will return. Three British authors are scheduled to take part in the series: bestselling crime fiction writer Sophie Hannah, as well as travel writers Sara Wheeler and Tim Moore.
