HKTDC Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo
WHAT: Building on the success of the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition), and the World of Outdoor Lighting & Lighting Accessories (WOOLLA) 2015, the HKTDC this year expands the scale of the marketplace by revitalising and renaming WOOLLA to launch the new HKTDC Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo. This new fair will showcase lighting for outdoor, professional, industrial and advertising uses, as well as lighting accessories, parts and components.
WHEN: 26-29 October 2016
WHO: Exhibitors will present their products in such categories as outdoor lighting, lighting accessories, parts and components, professional and industrial lighting, as well as advertising lighting exclusively for commercial/industrial use.
WHY: The Expo will be held alongside the Hong Kong International Building and Hardware Fair and Eco Expo Asia at AsiaWorld-Expo from 26 to 29 October. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 27 to 30 October. A free shuttle bus service will run between the HKCEC and AsiaWorld-Expo during the fair period.
Since lighting products and fixtures are closely associated with building materials and green industry, the above fairs will be held concurrently to foster cross-sector collaboration and maximise sourcing opportunities.
WHERE: AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong
HOW: The registration form is available to download.
And You Can Quote Me: “We are a supplier of outdoor lighting products in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Having been to the HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair over the last 10 years, we are glad to visit the first-ever World of Outdoor Lighting and Lighting Accessories, which houses more additional exhibitors for outdoor lighting. Products of street lighting, airport lighting and lighting for industrial and commercial use are on our radar. This year, we have noticed that around 10 per cent of products are new exciting LED products of higher wattage. The demand for outdoor lighting in the Middle East has been strong, as there are many construction projects in progress, from the building of shopping malls, hospitals and public parks to roads. The recovery of Post-war Iraq and the upcoming World Expo 2020 in Dubai may be the further stimuli to the segment of outdoor lighting.” (Mohamed Fayaz, Managing Director and CEO, Garden Lights LLC., United Arab Emirates, talking about last year’s World of Outdoor Lighting and Lighting Accessories.)
