WHEN: 13-16 April 2018

WHO: More than 2,900 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions are expected to take part in this year’s show.

WHY: A microcosm of global industry trends and a sourcing hub for thousands of electrical and electronic products from around the world, the fair features several exhibit categories, with such popular zones as Connected Home, Robotics and Unmanned Tech, Virtual Reality and Wearable Electronics, returning this year.

A series of themed events will be held to provide an effective platform for start-ups to present their ideas. They include pitching sessions, mentoring sessions, as well as “Startup, Smart Launch" sessions, where newly developed technology and products will be introduced to buyers. The fair will also feature sharing sessions with successful entrepreneurs and angel investors on their business tips for start-ups.

WHERE: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong

And You Can Quote Me: While the Hong Kong Electronic Fair has all the nuts and bolts of a traditional show – IoT, drones, wearables, connected home and a few hoverboards – it is their insight and ability to execute on forward-thinking trends that help accelerate them to the next level.” (Patrick McCarthy, Editor, Dealerscope Magazine, US.)
