Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter
WHAT: One of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s longest-running fairs, the 50th edition of Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter will be divided into zones. Corporate Fashion and Uniforms will feature apparel for staff of corporations and frontline service providers. World of Fashion Accessories will bring together shoes, bags, fashion jewellery, scarves and shawls in one zone. The return of these two zones will affirm growth opportunities in both the uniform and accessories markets.
New for 2019, The Federation of Hong Kong Footwear Ltd. will showcase its latest shoe designs with a fashion parade. Clothing Accessories, Fabrics & Yarn will highlight textiles for clothes, while the Fashion Gallery will be the ideal space for young, vibrant labels in touch with today’s trends. The International Fashion Designers’ Showcase will bring together young designers from different countries and regions, all presenting garments and accessories which will be innovative as well as commercial. Knitwear and Menswear will round off the zones.
International group pavilions will show off the unique strengths of different countries and regions. Designers and fashion houses will launch their latest collections in Fashion Week’s glamourous parades and FASHIONALLY presentations. The Designer Uniform Display features designers Allan Chiu, Barney Cheng, BKH Studio, Lu Lu Cheung and Mountain Yam. There will be trend-forecasting seminars and the fair will present buyer sharing to signpost the development of hot and emerging markets. The Networking Reception will provide an opportunity for industry players to mingle.

WHY: HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter is an all-in-one platform for the entire industry, encompassing upstream services and supplies as well as showcasing finished garments and accessories. The fair welcomed some 1,400 exhibitors and 14,000 buyers from 76 countries in 2018. The fair takes place in downtown Wan Chai, giving exhibitors and buyers ease of access and a host of business, shopping, dining and entertainment facilities.
