Rising Stars Focus on ASEAN and India – The Business Opportunities under the Growing Middle Class

WHAT: The seminar will focus on retail market developments in the fast-developing economies of Southeast Asia and India.

WHY: Some of the topics to be covered during the seminar include the huge potential of the Indian consumer market and some of the challenges and opportunities presented by policies under the administration of Indian Prime Minister Modi.

Speakers will also offer advice on selling products and services to ASEAN’s Muslim population; with a focus on the fast-rising economies of Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam; manufacturing relocation opportunities in the two regions; and an update on the latest development in negotiations under the proposed Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership treaty.
