Indonesia Looks to Cut Corporate Tax Rate to 20%

Indonesia is looking to reduce its corporate tax rate from 25% to 20%, according to Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro. The move is seen as part of a bid by the country to woo foreign investors and increase its competiveness with its South East Asian neighbours. No date for the implementation of the tax cut has yet been announced, with the legislation currently awaiting formal approval by the Indonesian parliament.
