LAOS: Local Language Product Labelling Set to be Strictly Enforced

All on-sale consumer goods must now carry product information in the local language. Although this first became a legal requirement in December 2015, it is only now that the Ministry of Industry and Commerce has indicated that it will be strictly enforced, with non-compliance leading to fines of up to Kip 9,000,000 (US$1056) and the revocation of business registration certificates.
