MYANMAR: Database of Pre-Approved PPP Infrastructure Projects Set to Go Online

A state-run database of pre-approved infrastructure projects open for overseas investment under a public-private partnership arrangement is set to go online. Once up and running, the database will contain key information and technical specifications relating to each proposed project, as well as details of the government ministry with oversight of any given development.

The move is said to form part of the government’s recently-unveiled Myanmar Investment Promotion Plan 2018 (MIPP). No launch date for the database has yet been announced.
