VIETNAM: Free Company Incorporation in National Capital from August Onwards

Companies will be incorporated free of charge in Hanoi from August this year onward. The move comes as part of a bid to increase the number of businesses registered in the country’s capital from the current level of 25,000 to 40,000 by 2020.

Under the terms of this new arrangement, once an online application has been made to register a new business, Hanoi’s provincial government will cover the existing VND 600,000 (US$26) incorporation fee, as well as any other arising charges.
