China Customs Announces Classification Decisions on 77 Commodities

In order to comply with the International Convention on the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System (and other relevant provisions of the World Customs Organisation), the General Administration of Customs (GAC) has issued classification decisions on 77 commodities, including freeze-dried cuttlefish, fresh cheese, chocolate confectionery items, ceramic inks for inkjet devices and steel wireless “selfie-sticks”.

The new classifications take effect as of 1 December.
