China Registered-FIEs Required to File 2018 Investment and Operations Report Online

All China-registered foreign-invested enterprises (FIEs) are required to report their 2018 investments and operations activities via the online Joint Reporting of Information on Annual Investments and Operations by FIEs facility before 30 June this year. The uploaded information will then be available to all relevant government bodies, including the departments of commerce, finance, taxation, statistics and foreign exchange.

In a related move, under the terms of the Provisional Regulations on Enterprise Information Disclosure, all investment and operational information disclosed by FIEs will subsequently be publicly accessible via the National Information Disclosure Platform for Joint Reporting of Information on Annual Investments and Operations by FIEs.

The move was confirmed in a joint statement recently-issued by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and four other government departments.
