China Waives Additional Tariffs on Some US Soy Beans and Pork

Following a 6 December statement from the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council, the mainland is now processing tariff exclusion requests from companies for US-origin soy beans, pork and other products. These goods will not be subject to countermeasures against the US Section 301 tariffs. Companies may purchase goods eligible for exclusion based on independent negotiation, import as they see fit and bear the associated profits or losses.
