Five Point Plan Announced for Simplifying Tax Administrative Permission Procedures
Five new measures designed to streamline the handling of tax administrative permission items have been announced by the State Administration of Taxation (SAT):
Simplification of Acceptance Documentation
In cases where administrative permission can be processed immediately, the Written Decision on Approving Tax Administrative Permission will be issued and served directly, while the Notice on the Acceptance of Tax Administrative Permission will no longer be issued.
Free Cross-district Submission Service
Any applicant for tax administrative permission approval may, in accordance with the prevailing regulations, opt to authorise the relevant tax authority to submit the application materials to any specified district.
Simplification of Application Materials
Providing the application materials required for administrative permission can be obtained from the government information sharing system, an applicant need only provide the name, serial number, code and other required information regarding the relevant materials for inquiry and verification purposes. The originals or copies of such materials no longer need to be submitted.
Advance Consultation Booking
All such bookings can now be made via the designated websites, email, the mobile tax platform or other approved means.
Improved Document Delivery
The relevant administrative bodies may commission the tax authority relevant to the applicant to serve documents to other districts or to serve such documents via registered mail without the applicant incurring additional charges.
