Guangdong Expands Administrative Charge Exemptions for Local Businesses

A wider range of Guangdong-based businesses have now been deemed to be eligible for exemption from certain administrative charges. For the first time, this sees those enterprises licensed by the local State Administration for Market Regulation Department entitled to such relief. Previously, this privilege only applied to any business licensed by the appropriate Industry and Commerce Administration Department.

The move has been seen as a bid to reduce the overall financial burden on businesses based within the province.
