Online Health Food Registration System Goes Live

A new online health food registration management information system was launched on 1 August this year. Developed by the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), the system can be used to register new products, renew or update existing registrations, file details of technology transfers and request replacement certification, as well as to conduct several other supplementary procedures.

In the first instance, applicants should upload their personal and product information in line with the requirements of the Health Food Registration Application Service Guidelines (2016 version). All applicants will subsequently be held liable for the accuracy and legal compliance of their applications, with full disclosure of all relevant details required in every instance.

The site can be accessed at: http://bjzc.zybh.gov.cn
