Quarantine Charges Dropped by 10% with Immediate Effect

All quarantine charges, as applicable to any items for import / export, have been reduced by 10% with immediate effect.

The measure was announced by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and brings the charges in line with the requirements of Annex 3 of the Circular of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) on Issuing the Measures for Charging Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Fees (Fagai Jiage No. 2357 [2003]).
