Revised Inspection and Quarantine Protocols Introduced for Imported Goods

Revised regulations with regards to the frequency of on-site and laboratory inspections relating to imported goods, as well as any accompanying quarantine requirements, were introduced as of 1 November this year. The changes are intended to improve the overall efficiency of the relevant customs clearance procedures.

The revised provisions were issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).
