Three New Food Safety Standards to Take Effect in February 2020
China recently announced that three new national food safety standards will come into effect as of 28 February 2020:
- GB 2763-2019 National Food Safety Standard – Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Foods
- GB 23200.116-2019 National Food Safety Standard – Determination of 90 Organophosphorus Pesticides and Metabolites Residues in Foods of Plant Origin – Gas Chromatography Method
- GB 23200.117-2019 National Food Safety Standard – Determination of Oxine-Copper Residue in Foods of Plant Origin – High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Method
