Anti-dumping Actions

Commodity: Ceramic tableware and kitchenware, excluding ceramic knives, ceramic condiment or spice mills and their ceramic grinding parts, ceramic peelers, ceramic knife sharpeners and cordierite ceramic pizza-stones of a kind used for baking pizza or bread, currently falling within CN codes ex 6911 10 00, ex 6912 00 10, ex 6912 00 30, ex 6912 00 50 and ex 6912 00 90 (TARIC codes 6911100090, 6912001011, 6912001091, 6912003010, 6912005010 and 6912009010). This description is found in Article 1(1) of Council Implementing Regulation 412/2013.

Countries/Economies: The Chinese mainland.

Action: Commission Implementing Regulation 2018/554 has been published in the Official Journal, amending Council Implementing Regulation 412/2013 imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of ceramic tableware and kitchenware. The Commission notes therein that on 10 June 2017, a Chinese exporting producer requested the Commission to amend Implementing Regulation 412/2013 to reflect the company's full name in English as mentioned on its business licence. In view of the underlying evidence the Commission accepted this request. In consequence, Article 1(2) of Implementing Regulation 412/2013 is replaced by the text under Article 1 of the newly published Regulation, reflecting the change.

Dates: The new Regulation was published on 10 April 2018.
