Argentina Again Extends Deadline to Comply with Technical Requirements for Electric Metres

The Argentinean government has again extended the deadline for producers, importers and sellers to comply with the technical requirements for electric metres laid out under Resolution 90/2012 as amended. These requirements apply to active alternating current electric metres for use in measurements subject to commercial transactions. Resolution 90/2012 sets forth a number of mechanical requirements, operating conditions, accuracy standards, electrical and software protection requirements, and requirements related to model approval and technical documentation, terms of reference, and initial and periodic verifications. The new deadline for compliance is 31 July.
