Argentina Begins Anti-circumvention Review of Electric Irons

Argentina has initiated a proceeding to determine whether imports of certain electric irons declared as originating in Indonesia are circumventing the antidumping duty order in place on mainland Chinese electric irons other than those that are connected by pipe to an external steam generator, classified under NCM 8516.40.00. Subject merchandise from mainland China currently faces AD duties of US$13.22 per unit in the case of dry irons and US$15.41 per unit in the case of steam irons.
