Argentina Delays Implementation of Amended Conformity Assessment Requirements for Packaged Paper

Argentina has delayed for 60 days the entry into force of the amended conformity assessment requirements for packaged paper, which must be certified as to its quality, purity or composition in accordance with standards IRAM 3100, 3101, 3123 and 3124 as well as standard IRAM-ISO 9706. Subject merchandise must be certified in accordance with certification System 5, which is based on an evaluation of the manufacturer’s quality management system and the testing of samples taken from the production line.
