Argentina Seeks to Strengthen Electronic Single Window for Trade Operations

As part of efforts to strengthen its electronic single window for international trade operations (VUCEA), Argentina is now requiring government agencies and entities to identify goods by their respective NCM number in every regime established to regulate international trade. This includes import/export declaration processes and procedures, permits, certifications, licences and other authorisations, as well as any other procedures needed to carry out import and/or export operations.

Whenever applicable, each agency must indicate the exceptions, requirements, conditions or rules that are necessary to identify the universe of goods covered by the regulation in question. Moreover, any changes to Argentina’s import or export regimes must be notified to the VUCEA executive unit within one working day.
