CPSC Recalls Certain Bed Rails Made in Mainland China

The CPSC has announced a recall of certain bed rails made in mainland China.

Bed Rails. Hot Mom has recalled about 500 bed rails because they fail to meet the federal mandatory standard for portable bed rails, posing entrapment and suffocation hazards to young children. This recall involves bed rails with model number Boom09. Hot Mom is printed on the bottom right corner of the bed rail, which measures approximately 59 inches long by two inches deep by 25 inches high. The bed rails have a plastic perimeter with two mesh centres and were sold with a light blue and white cover at Amazon.com from March through August 2017.
