CPSC Recalls One Product Made in Mainland China

The CPSC has announced the following recall of certain helmets made in mainland China.

Helmets
Helmets R Us has recalled about 9,700 helmets because they fail to meet the federal safety standard. This recall involves Rollerblade-branded helmets used in schools’ physical education programmes. The recalled helmets are white and Rollerblade is printed on the side in black. They were manufactured from September 2011 through April 2017. Model 16, SK-501N and the manufactured date are printed on a label on the inside of the helmet and “Distributed by: Helmets R Us” is printed on another label inside of the helmet. These products were sold to schools nationwide from September 2011 through April 2018.
