CPSC Recalls Various Products Made in Mainland China
The CPSC has announced the following recalls of products made in mainland China.
Lumicentro Internacional S.A. and Home Depot Product Authority LLC have recalled about 10,500 crystal chandeliers because the halogen bulbs sold with these products can melt parts of the fixture, posing fire and burn hazards. The recall involves Hampton Bay three-light crystal chandeliers and Home Decorators Collection four-light crystal chandeliers. The Hampton Bay 3-light chandelier has model number 03179-4 and the Home Decorators Collection’s model number is 19161-4. The chrome ceiling fixtures have dangling crystals, weigh about 16 pounds, and have three or four 50-watt halogen bulbs. Home Depot stores in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands sold the Hampton Bay 3-light crystal chandeliers from September 2013 through February 2017, while Home Depot stores nationwide sold the Home Decorators Collection 4-light crystal chandeliers from October 2015 through February 2017.

These vehicles were sold in yellow, red, blue and camouflage and were manufactured between March and November 2016. A label located under the driver’s seat lists the model number and the month and year of manufacture. The vehicles were sold by Independent Cub Cadet dealers nationwide from March 2016 through May 2017.
Core Health & Fitness has issued a recall for about 3,600 exercise machines because the height adjusting carriage assembly can loosen and fall on the consumer, posing an impact hazard. This recall involves five styles of Inspiration Cable Cross Over and Dual Adjustable Pulley machines installed primarily in fitness centres and gyms. The units are stainless steel adjustable pulleys with single hand adjustment designs and high-low cable positioning components. “Inspiration” is printed on each Dual Adjustable Pulley model and “Star Trac” or “Nautilus” is printed on the Cable Cross Over models. These exercise machines were made in mainland China and the United States and sold by Core distributors nationwide from November 2010 through April 2017, as well as by Unisen distributors from 2001 through 2010.
