The CPSC has announced the following recalls of products made in mainland China.

Children’s Nightgowns
Lemur Group Inc. has recalled about 1,100 children’s nightgowns in the United States and about 380 children’s nightgowns in Canada because they fail to meet the mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. This recall involves PL Sleep children’s 100 percent polyester nightgowns. The nightgowns have a grey and white snowflake print on the long sleeves and a faux Sherpa fleece body with a red scarf, three black buttons and black belt decoration on the front. The sleepwear included co-ordinating red and white striped socks. PL Sleep and model numbers 17FT62F561 and #101 are printed on a label sewn into the left inside seam, while PL Sleep and the size are on the neck label. The nightgowns were sold in children’s sizes 2 through 7 at Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and Von Maur stores nationwide as well as on-line at Amazon.com and Chasing-Fireflies.com from October 2017 through February 2018.

Multicookers
Double Insight Inc. is recalling some 104,000 multicookers because a defect can cause these products to overheat and melt on the underside, posing a fire hazard. This recall involves Gem 65 8-in-1 model multicookers, a multifunctional, programmable cooking appliance that includes the functions of roasting, baking, stewing, slow cooking, rice cooking, searing/sautéing, steaming and food warming. Instant Pot is printed on the front of the multicookers while Gem 65 8-in-1 and a batch code of 1728, 1730, 1731, 1734 or 1746 are printed on the rating label on the underside of the product. High Chairs
Graco Children’s Products Inc. has issued a recall for about 36,000 high chairs in the United States and approximately 3,200 high chairs in Canada because their rear legs can pivot out of position, making the chair unstable and posing a fall hazard. This recall involves Graco Table2Table™ 6-in-1 high chairs with model number 1969721. The high chairs convert to six different modes, including a traditional high chair, a booster seat, and a toddler chair and table. The high chair’s cushion is white with gold and grey polka dots. Girls’ Jeans
Topson Downs has announced a recall of about 30,000 girls’ jeans because the metal stars in these garments can detach, posing a laceration hazard. Mosquito Traps
Woodstream Corporation has recalled about 28,000 mosquito magnet traps because they can become damaged if they are cleaned while powered on with the company’s Quick Clear cartridge kits and can propel broken pieces of the regulator, posing an injury hazard to consumers. The recalled traps are designed to attract and capture mosquitos and other insects into the vacuum, where they dehydrate and die. The traps connect to a 20 gallon propane tank and measure about 30 to 35 inches tall. They were sold in green or green/grey with a black and green plastic stand. “Mosquito Magnet” is printed on the top front of the units and the model name, model number and serial number are printed on the back of the traps. The traps use Woodstream’s Quick Clear cartridge kits to clean out the nozzle after changing propane tanks. These products were sold at Home Depot and various hardware and home improvement stores as well as on-line at www.mosquitomagnets.com from December 2014 through December 2016.

Menorahs
Bensussen Deutch & Associates (BDA) LLC has recalled about 1,800 menorahs because the glue that holds the menorah’s candleholders can melt, causing the candleholders and lit candles to fall off and posing fire and burn hazards. This recall involves menorahs given away as promotional items for Jewish heritage night at a 14 December 2017 Golden State Warriors NBA game. “Golden State Warriors,” “Jewish Heritage Night” and two Stars of David are printed on the front of the menorah. The polyresin menorahs have gold-coloured aluminium candleholders on top of decorative basketballs. The centre candleholder has an additional decorative basketball basket underneath the ball. The candles resemble basketballs.
