CPSC Recalls Various Products Made in Mainland China

The CPSC has announced a recall of the following products made in mainland China.

Turkey Fryers. Academy Sports + Outdoors has recalled about 3,000 turkey fryers because the turkey fryer spout can leak oil and pose a fire hazard. This recall involves the Outdoor Gourmet Turkey Keg, which is a turkey fryer made of stainless steel and powered by propane. The fryer, including its legs, measures 34 inches high by 17 inches wide. Item number 157826 is located on a label on one of the four legs. These products were sold at Academy Sports + Outdoors stores and on-line at www.academy.com from October through December 2018.

Milk Bottles. Crate and Barrell has issued a recall for about 17,000 holiday-themed milk bottles because the plastic straw that comes with the bottle can crack or break, posing a laceration hazard. This recall involves Holiday Bear acrylic milk bottles measuring 5.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches wide at the base. The bottles come with a removable plastic straw and have a graphic of a bear in a red sweater printed on their wide part. They were sold exclusively at Crate and Barrel retail stores nationwide and on-line at www.crateandbarrel.com from August through November 2018.
