Canada Begins AD/CV Scope Proceeding of Aluminium Extrusions

The Canada Border Services Agency initiated a proceeding on 26 October to determine whether certain items fall within the scope of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on aluminium extrusions from mainland China. The schedule for this proceeding is as follows: producer and importer responses to CBSA’s request for information are due by 19 November, exporter responses to CBSA’s request for information are due by 26 November, the record will be closed on 17 December, the statement of essential facts will be issued on 15 January 2019, comments on the statement of essential facts are due by 22 January 2019, responses to the aforementioned comments are due by 29 January 2019, and a final determination will be made no later than 22 February 2019.
