Argentina Begins AD Probe of Aluminium Radiators
Argentina recently initiated an AD duty investigation of aluminium radiators for use in home central heating, with no electric heating capabilities, classified under NCM 7615.10.00, from mainland China. Argentinean Customs will begin requiring certificates of origin for subject merchandise from 25 September.

Canada Renews AD/CV Duty Orders on Steel Piling Pipe
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has issued a final affirmative injury determination in its sunset review of the AD and CV duty orders on mainland Chinese carbon and alloy steel pipe piles, commonly identified as piling pipe, in outside diameter ranging from 3.5 inches up to and including 16 inches (8.9 cm to 40.6 cm) inclusive, in commercial quality and in various forms and finishes, usually supplied to meet ASTM A252, ASTM A500, CSA G.40.21 or comparable specifications or standards, whether single, dual or multiple certified, excluding carbon steel welded pipe, in the nominal size range of 3.5 inches up to and including six inches (89 mm to 168.3 mm) in outside diameter, in various forms and finishes, usually supplied to meet ASTM A252 or equivalent specifications, other than carbon steel welded pipe in the nominal size range of 3.5 inches up to and including six inches, dual-stencilled to meet the requirements of both specification ASTM A252, Grades 1 to 3, and specification API 5L, with bevelled ends and in random lengths, for use as foundation piles, classified under HTSCA 7306.30.0014, 7306.30.0019, 7306.30.0024, 7306.30.0029, 7306.30.0034 and 7306.30.0039. As a result, these orders will be renewed for a period of five years.

Mexico Renews AD Duty Order on Steel Wire Mesh
Mexico recently issued the final results of its sunset review of the AD duty order on galvanised hexagonal steel wire mesh classified under HTSMX 7314.19.03, 7314.19.99, 7314.31.01, 7314.41.01 and 7314.49.99 from mainland China. The ministry decided to renew this order for an additional five years and maintain the AD measures on subject merchandise, specifically an AD duty of US$0.45 per kilogramme.

Brazil Issues Results of Anti-Circumvention Probe of Nylon Yarn
Brazilian authorities recently issued a final determination in an anti-circumvention probe of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese nylon filament yarn classified under NCM 5402.31.11, 5402.31.19 and 5402.45.20. Specifically, MDIC has determined that (1) import licences should be issued to imports of DTY – PA 6 yarn and ATY – PA 6 yarn claiming to be produced in Vietnam by Italon Company Limited; and (2) import licences should not be issued to imports of DTY – PA 6.6 yarn, ATY – PA 6.6 yarn and “Melange” type yarn claiming to be produced in Vietnam by Italon Company Limited.
