Canada to Issue AD/CV Duty Orders on Cold-Rolled Steel
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal on 21 December issued a final affirmative injury determination in its AD and CV investigations of mainland Chinese cold-rolled steel in coils or cut lengths classified under HTSCA 7209.15.0000, 7209.16.0000, 7209.17.0000, 7209.18.0000, 7209.25.0000, 7209.26.0000, 7209.27.0000, 7209.28.0000, 7211.29.0000, 7209.90.0000, 7211.23.0000, 7211.90.0000 and 7225.50.0000. As a result of the CITT’s determination, the Canada Border Services Agency will assess AD and CV duties on all appropriate entries using the rates shown in the table below.

Brazil Begins Sunset Review on Nylon Yarn
Brazil has initiated a sunset review of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese nylon filament yarn classified under NCM 5402.31.11, 5402.31.19 and 5402.45.20. Imports of subject merchandise currently face a dumping margin ranging from US$334.78/tonne to US$2,409.11/tonne.
Brazil Does Not Find Circumvention of AD Duty Order on Pens
Brazilian authorities recently issued a final determination in an anti-circumvention probe of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese ball-point pens classified under NCM 9608.10.00. Specifically, it has been determined that that import licences should be issued to imports of subject pens claiming to be produced in India by Win Pens Private Limited.
