Argentina Begins AD Investigations on Aluminium Sheet, Certain Chemical Mixtures. Argentina has initiated separate antidumping duty investigations of mainland Chinese (1) sheet of unalloyed aluminium or of series 3xxx aluminium alloys, of a diameter of at least 60 millimetres but no greater than 1,000 mm and a thickness of at least 0.3 mm but no greater than 5 mm, classified under NCM 7606.91.00 and 7606.92.00; and (2) mixtures containing tetrafluoroethane and pentafluoroethane as well as mixtures containing difluoromethane and pentafluoroethane, classified under NCM 3824.78.10 and 3824.78.90.
Argentina Issues Results of AD Anti-Circumvention Reviews of Glasses and Sunglasses. Argentina has determined that imports of certain sunglasses classified under NCM 9004.10.00 that are produced and exported to Argentina by Taiwan’s QEF Design Corp., as well as imports of certain corrective glasses classified under NCM 9004.90.10 that are produced by Taiwan’s Ming Yuan Glasses Enterprise Co. Ltd., exported to Argentina by Taiwan’s Amber Glow Co. Ltd. and imported into Argentina by Loveli S.A., are not circumventing the AD duty order on subject merchandise from mainland China.
Certain Aluminium Brackets Not Subject to AD/CV Duties in Canada. The Canada Border Services Agency determined in a recent scope ruling that certain aluminium brackets included with unassembled base transceiver systems imported by Nokia Canada Inc. are not subject to the AD and CV duty orders on certain aluminium extrusions from mainland China.
