Chile Terminates Safeguard Investigation on Dairy Products. Chile on 23 January terminated without the imposition of any measures the safeguard investigation it had launched in March 2018 on milk in powder form classified under HTSCL 0402.1000, 0402.2111, 0402.2112, 0402.2113, 0402.2114, 0402.2115, 0402.2116, 0402.2117, 0402.2118, 0402.2911, 0402.2912, 0402.2913, 0402.2914, 0402.2915 0402,2916, 0402.2917, and 0402.2918, as well as gouda cheese classified under HTSCL 0406.90.10.
Canada Makes Determination in AD/CV Sunset Review of Wall Modules. The Canada Border Services Agency has issued a final affirmative dumping and countervailable subsidy determination in its expiry review of the AD and CV duty orders on mainland Chinese unitised wall modules, with or without infill, including fully assembled frames, with or without fasteners, trims, cover caps, window operators, gaskets, load transfer bars, sunshades and anchor assemblies, excluding non-unitised building envelope systems such as stick systems and point-fixing systems, classified under HTSCA 7008.00.0000, 7308.30.0021, 7610.10.0010, 7610.10.0020, 7610.90.9030 and 7610.90.9090.
If the Canadian International Trade Tribunal issues an affirmative injury determination, these AD and CV duty orders will be renewed for an additional five years. If, on the contrary, the CITT issues a negative determination, the orders will be rescinded. The CITT determination is expected by 3 July.
