Miscellaneous Latin American AD Actions on Mainland Chinese Products
Mexico Finds Circumvention of AD Duty Order on Ammonium Sulphate. Mexico has determined that certain nitrogen, potassium and sulphur (NKS) mixtures used as fertilizers and classified under HTSMX 3105.90.99 are circumventing the AD duty order on ammonium sulphate from mainland China. As a result, subject merchandise from Wuzhoufeng Agricultural Science & Technology Co. Ltd. will face an AD duty of US$0.0929 per kilogramme while subject merchandise from all other suppliers will face an AD duty of US$0.1703/kg.
Brazil Finds Certain Underplates and Glass Mugs Are Not Subject to AD Duties. Brazilian authorities have determined that the following products do not fall within the scope of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese table glassware classified under NCM 7013.49.00, 7013.28.00 and 7013.37.00: (1) certain sodium-calcium underplates classified under NCM 7013.49.00, which consist of table objects used to support a plate with the dual goals of serving as table service ornamentation while protecting the tablecloth against possible spills; and (2) certain glass mugs with a removable lid and straw and a capacity of 500 millilitres classified under NCM 7013.37.00.
