Miscellaneous Latin American AD Actions on Mainland Chinese Products
Argentina Rescinds AD Duty Order on Conveyor Belts. Following a sunset and changed circumstances review, Argentina has rescinded its antidumping duty order on conveyor belts of vulcanised rubber reinforced only with textile materials, with a width of at least 300 millimetres, classified under NCM 4010.12.00, from mainland China. Imports of subject merchandise has been subject to an AD duty of 178 percent.
Argentina Preliminarily Finds Dumping on Knitted Gloves. Argentina has issued a preliminary affirmative determination in its AD duty investigation of mainland Chinese knitted gloves made of 100 percent textile materials, coated or covered (including partially) with latex or nitrile, classified under NCM 6116.10.00. Imports of subject merchandise will face a provisional duty of 56 percent for a period of six months from 19 November.
Mexico Begins Sunset Review on Concrete Steel Nails. Mexico has initiated a sunset review of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese concrete steel nails classified under HTSMX 7317.00.99. This review will result in either the continuation or revocation of the order. Subject merchandise is currently subject to an AD duty of US$0.54 per kilogramme.
Argentina Issues Results of Anti-circumvention Review of Glass Plates. Argentina has determined that imports by Hissuma Latam S.R.L. of certain glass plates classified under NCM 7016.10.00 that are exported to Argentina by Malaysia’s DLT Group Sdn. Bhd. are circumventing the AD duty order on certain ceramic, marble and glass tiles, and similar products from mainland China.
