Miscellaneous Latin American AD Actions on Mainland Chinese Products
Mexico Preliminarily Finds Dumping on Flat-Rolled Stainless Steel Products. Mexico has issued a preliminary affirmative determination in its AD investigation of certain flat-rolled stainless steel products classified under HTSMX 7219.34.01, 7219.35.01 and 7220.20.02 from mainland China. These products may also be entered under special tariff lines 9802.00.01, 9802.00.02, 9802.00.03, 9802.00.07, 9802.00.10, 9802.00.13 and 9802.00.19. The authorities have established provisional AD duties of 121.46 percent for Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. as well as 88.42 percent for all other mainland Chinese exporters.
Argentina Issues AD Duty Order on Aluminium Radiators. Argentina has issued an AD duty order on aluminium radiators for use in home central heating, with no electric heating capabilities, classified under NCM 7615.10.00, from mainland China. Imports of subject merchandise will face an AD duty of 87 percent for a period of five years.
Brazil Renews AD Duty Order on Hairbrushes. Brazil has renewed its AD duty order on mainland Chinese hairbrushes classified under NCM 9603.29.00. As a result, imports of subject merchandise will face an AD duty of US$11.98 per kilogramme for the next five years.
Argentina Renews AD Duty Order on Transformers. Argentina has renewed for an additional five years its AD duty order on mainland Chinese liquid dielectric transformers having a power handling capacity higher than 10,000 kVA but not exceeding 600,000 kVA, classified under NCM 8504.23.00. As a result, subject merchandise will continue to face an AD duty of 54 percent.
