New AD/CV Probes of Mainland Chinese Steel Staples

The U.S. International Trade Commission has initiated the preliminary phase of antidumping and countervailing injury investigations of mainland Chinese collated steel staples classified under HTSUS 8305.20.0000. A schedule for these investigations will be issued shortly.

The staples covered by these proceedings may be manufactured from any type of steel and are included in the scope regardless of whether they are uncoated or coated and regardless of the type or number of coatings, including those that inhibit corrosion. The staples may be collated using any material or combination of materials, including adhesive, glue and adhesive film or paper tape.
