New or Amended Energy Standards for Computer Room ACs and Outdoor Air Systems under Consideration

The U.S. Department of Energy is seeking input by 28 October on whether there is a need to update the current mandatory energy efficiency standards for certain classes of computer room air conditioners and establish new standards for dedicated outdoor air systems. Interested parties may comment on whether amended or new standards for these products, as applicable, would result in significant energy savings and whether such standards would be technologically feasible and economically justified.
