Steel Wheels Will Face AD/CV Duties. The USITC has issued a final affirmative injury determination in its AD and CV investigations of steel wheels from mainland China. As a result, the DOC will issue AD and CV duty orders on imports of subject merchandise. In light of the USITC’s negative findings concerning critical circumstances, such imports will not face retroactive AD or CV duties.

Revised Schedule of AD/CV Probe of Propane Cylinders. The USITC recently issued a revised schedule for the on-going AD and CV duty investigation of steel propane cylinders from mainland China. Pre-hearing briefs are now due by 30 May rather than 31 May, the pre-hearing conference will be held on 3 June as opposed to 4 June, and the hearing will take place on 5 June as opposed to 6 June.

Scheduling of Expedited Sunset Review of AD/CV Duty Orders on Steel Pipe. The USITC has scheduled the expedited sunset review of the AD and CV duty orders on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from mainland China. The staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 7 May and a public version will be issued thereafter. Comments and statements are due by 14 May and may not contain new factual information.
