Preliminary Affirmative AD/CV Injury Determinations on Ammonium Sulphate
The USITC has issued preliminary affirmative injury determinations in its AD and CV investigations of ammonium sulphate from mainland China. As a result, the DOC will continue its AD and CV duty investigations of imports of subject merchandise. The DOC is scheduled to issue its preliminary CV determination on 18 August and its preliminary AD determination on 1 November.

Initiation of Sunset Review of AD Duty Order on Hand Tools
The USITC has initiated a sunset review of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese heavy forged hand tools, with or without handles. The review will seek to determine whether revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to a domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. Interested parties must respond to the applicable notice of initiation by 1 August to be assured of consideration. Comments on the adequacy of these responses must be filed by 14 September. The USITC will then assess the adequacy of interested party responses to determine whether to conduct a full or expedited sunset review.

Scheduling of Full Sunset Review of AD Duty Order on Bedroom Furniture
The USITC has scheduled a full sunset review of the AD duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 20 October and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs are due by 31 October; requests to appear at the hearing are due by 7 November; the pre-hearing conference will be held on 8 November; the hearing will be held on 10 November; and post-hearing briefs are due by 22 November.

Full Sunset Review of AD Duty Order on Aluminium Extrusions
The USITC has decided to conduct  a full sunset review of the AD duty order on aluminium extrusions from mainland China. The review will seek to determine whether revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to a domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. As opposed to expedited reviews, full reviews include a public hearing and the issuance of questionnaires.

Enforcement Proceeding in Section 337 Probe of Beverage Brewing Capsules
The USITC has instituted a formal enforcement proceeding relating to the limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders issued at the conclusion of the Section 337 investigation of certain beverage brewing capsules from mainland China. The USITC will now investigate whether the respondents have violated the orders and what, if any, enforcement measures are appropriate.
