Scheduling of Final Phase of AD/CV Injury Investigation of Geogrid Products
The USITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigation of biaxial integral geogrid products from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 7 December and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs are due by 14 December; requests to appear at the hearing must be submitted by 15 December; the pre-hearing conference will take place on 16 December; the hearing will be held on 20 December; and post-hearing briefs are due by 29 December.

Scheduling of Final Phase of AD/CV Injury Investigation of Truck and Bus Tyres
The USITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigation of truck and bus tyres from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 5 January 2017 and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs are due by 12 January; requests to appear at the hearing must be submitted by 18 January; the pre-hearing conference will take place on 20 January; the hearing will be held on 24 January; and post-hearing briefs are due by 31 January.

Scheduling of Final Phase of AD/CV Injury Investigation of Silica Fabric
The USITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigation of certain amorphous silica fabric from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 4 January 2017 and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs are due by 11 January; requests to appear at the hearing must be submitted by 12 January; the pre-hearing conference will take place on 17 January; the hearing will be held on 18 January; and post-hearing briefs are due by 25 January.

Full Sunset Reviews of AD Duty Orders on Pencils and Paper Clips
The USITC has decided to conduct full sunset reviews of the AD duty orders on cased pencils and paper clips from China. The reviews will seek to determine whether revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to a domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. As opposed to expedited reviews, full reviews include a public hearing and the issuance of questionnaires.

New Section 337 Investigation on Personal Transporters
The USITC has initiated a Section 337 investigation of certain personal transporters and components thereof from various sources, including mainland China. The products at issue in the investigation are self-balancing, electric vehicles for carrying a person. The complainants allege that the respondents are infringing certain U.S. patents and are requesting the USITC to issue a general exclusion order (or, alternately, a limited exclusion order) as well as cease and desist orders.

Section 337 Investigation of Quartz Slabs Terminated
The USITC instituted on 16 August a Section 337 investigation of certain quartz slabs and portions thereof from mainland China and Vietnam. The petitioner subsequently moved to terminate the investigation based on the withdrawal of the complaint and the USITC has decided not to review that decision.
