AD Duty Order on Chlorinated Isocyanurates Renewed
The USITC has issued a final affirmative injury determination in its sunset review of the AD duty order on chlorinated Isocyanurates from mainland China. As a result, this order will be extended for another five years.
Scheduling of Expedited Sunset Reviews of AD Duty Orders on Heavy Forged Hand Tools
The USITC has scheduled the expedited sunset reviews of the AD duty orders on heavy forged hand tools from mainland China. The reviews will seek to determine whether revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to a domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. The applicable staff report was placed in the non-public record on 27 October and a public version will be issued thereafter. Comments and statements are due by 1 November and may not contain new factual information.
Remedies in Section 337 Probe of Computer Cables, Chargers and Other Products
The USITC has issued a limited exclusion order in its Section 337 investigation of certain computer cables, chargers, adapters, peripheral devices and packaging containing the same from mainland China. The limited exclusion order prohibits the unlicenced entry of subject merchandise that infringes certain trademarks and is manufactured abroad by or on behalf of, or imported by or on behalf of, the mainland Chinese respondents. The USITC has set a bond in the amount of 100 percent of the entered value of the subject merchandise for importations during the 60-day presidential review period.
Section 337 Investigation of Certain Steel Products Amended
The USITC has amended the on-going Section 337 probe of certain carbon and alloy steel products from mainland China by granting a complainant’s motion to correct the name of one of the respondents.
