Final Affirmative AD Injury Determination on Residential Washers
The USITC has issued a final affirmative injury determination in its AD investigation of large residential washers from mainland China. As a result, the DOC will issue an AD duty order on imports of subject merchandise.

AD Duty Order on Bedroom Furniture Renewed
The USITC has issued a final affirmative injury determination in its sunset review of the AD duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from mainland China. As a result, this order will be extended for another five years.

Initiation of Sunset Review of AD Duty Order on Furfuryl Alcohol
The USITC has initiated a sunset review of the AD duty order on furfuryl alcohol from mainland China. The review will seek to determine whether revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to a domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. Interested parties must respond to the applicable notice of initiation by 2 February to be assured of consideration. Comments on the adequacy of these responses must be filed by 17 March. The USITC will then assess the adequacy of interested party responses to determine whether to conduct a full or expedited sunset review. As opposed to expedited reviews, full reviews include a public hearing and the issuance of questionnaires.

Expedited Sunset Reviews of AD Duty Orders on Artists’ Canvas and Pure Magnesium
The USITC has decided to conduct expedited sunset reviews of the AD duty orders on artists’ canvas and pure magnesium from mainland China. As opposed to full reviews, expedited reviews do not include a public hearing or the issuance of questionnaires.

New Section 337 Investigation on Liquid Crystal eWriters
The USITC has instituted an investigation to determine whether imports of certain liquid crystal displays that can be used as writing tablets (known as eWriters) as well as components thereof from mainland China are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The complainant requests that after this investigation the USITC issue a limited exclusion order as well as cease and desist orders.

New Section 337 Investigation on Arrowheads
The USITC has initiated a Section 337 investigation of certain arrowheads with arcuate blades used for hunting as well as components thereof from mainland China. The complainant alleges that the respondents are infringing certain U.S. patents and is requesting the USITC to issue a general exclusion order as well as cease and desist orders.

New Section 337 Investigation on Flash Memory Devices
The USITC has instituted an investigation to determine whether imports of flash memory devices and components thereof from various sources, including mainland China, are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The products at issue in this investigation are SD cards and microSD cards for use in cameras and other electronic devices. The complainant requests that after this investigation the USITC issue a limited exclusion order as well as cease and desist orders.
