Scheduling of Final Phase of AD/CV Injury Investigations of Sodium Gluconate
The USITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of sodium gluconate, gluconic acid and derivative products from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 5 September and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs are due by 12 September; requests to appear at the hearing are due by 13 September; the pre-hearing conference will be held on 14 September; the hearing will be held on 18 September; post-hearing briefs are due by 25 September; and final comments are due by 12 October.

Scheduling of Final Phase of AD/CV Injury Investigations of Aluminium Sheet
The USITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of common alloy aluminium sheet from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 16 October and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs are due by 23 October; requests to appear at the hearing are due by 24 October; the pre-hearing conference will be held on 29 October; the hearing will be held on 30 October; post-hearing briefs are due by 8 November; and final comments are due by 30 November.

Scheduling of Full Sunset Review of AD/CV Duty Orders on Solar Cells and Modules
The USITC has scheduled the full sunset review of the AD and CV duty orders on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells and modules from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 25 October and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs and requests to appear at the hearing are due by 5 November; the pre-hearing conference will be held on 7 November; the hearing will be held on 15 November; and post-hearing briefs are due by 27 November.

New Section 337 Investigation on Powered Cover Plates
The USITC has instituted an investigation to determine whether imports of certain powered cover plates (i.e., electrical receptacle covers with built-in functionality) from mainland China are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The complainant requests that after this investigation the USITC issue a general exclusion order (or, in the alternative, a limited exclusion order) as well as cease and desist orders.

New Section 337 Investigation on Carburettors
The USITC has instituted an investigation to determine whether imports of certain carburettors and products containing the same from various sources, including Hong Kong and mainland China, are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The products at issue in this investigation are hand-held carburettors for small or utility gasoline engines that are used in a variety of equipment. The complainant requests that after this investigation the USITC issue a general exclusion order (or, in the alternative, a limited exclusion order) as well as cease and desist orders.
