Schedule for New AD/CV Probes of Steel Trailer Wheels Announced
The USITC has initiated the preliminary phase of AD and CV injury investigations of steel trailer wheels classified under HTSUS 8716.90.5035 and 8716.90.5059 from mainland China. The investigation schedule is as follows: return questionnaires are due by 22 August, the staff conference will be held on 29 August, post-conference briefs are due by 4 September, and a preliminary injury vote has been scheduled for 21 September.

Remedy Comments Sought in Section 337 Probe of Jump Rope Systems
In its patent infringement investigation of certain jump rope systems from mainland China, the USITC’s presiding administrative law judge has found the sole respondent in default. The USITC is requesting comments by 20 August on the form of remedy, if any, that should be ordered; the effect of any such remedy on the public health and welfare, competitive conditions in the U.S. economy, U.S. production of articles that are like or directly competitive with those that are subject to investigation, and U.S. consumers; and the amount of the bond under which infringing articles could continue to enter the United States during the 60-day period the president has to review any USITC-ordered remedy.

Section 337 Investigation on LED Lighting Devices Amended
In its patent infringement investigation of certain LED lighting devices, LED power supplies and components thereof from mainland China, the USITC has determined to amend the notice of investigation to delete the erroneously included U.S. respondent Edgewell Personal Care Brands LLC.
