Scheduling of Expedited Sunset Review of AD Duty Order on Rebar
The USITC has scheduled the expedited sunset review of the AD duty order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from mainland China. The staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 3 October and a public version will be issued thereafter. Comments and statements are due by 9 October and may not contain new factual information.

Scheduling of Expedited Sunset Review of AD Duty Order on Xanthan Gum
The USITC has scheduled the expedited sunset review of the AD duty order on xanthan gum from mainland China. The staff report was placed in the non-public record on 26 September and a public version will be issued thereafter. Comments and statements were due by 1 October and could not contain new factual information.

New Section 337 Investigation on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
The USITC has instituted an investigation to determine whether imports of certain unmanned aerial vehicles from Hong Kong and mainland China are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The scope of this proceeding covers drones, rotors, rotor assemblies, actuators, propulsion assemblies, batteries, battery components, battery assemblies, controllers, processors, processing components, modules, chips and circuits used therein or therewith. The complainant requests that after this investigation the USITC issue a limited exclusion order as well as cease and desist orders.

New Section 337 Investigation on Unmanned Strength-Training Systems
The USITC has instituted an investigation to determine whether imports of certain strength-training systems from mainland China are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The scope of this proceeding covers machines with a dynamic user support used to perform chest press, fly or butterfly, abdominal, shoulder press, triceps dip, triceps extension, rowing, lat pulldown, bicep curl, seated dip, chin up, lateral raise, inner and outer thigh, low back, glute, leg extension, leg curl, and/or leg press exercises. The complainant requests that after this investigation the USITC issue a limited exclusion order as well as cease and desist orders.

Remedies in Section 337 Probe of Jump Rope Systems
The USITC has imposed a limited exclusion order against the sole mainland Chinese respondent in the Section 337 probe of certain jump rope systems from the mainland. The USITC has also determined to set at 100 percent of entered value the bond amount under which infringing goods may continue to enter the United States during the 60-day period the president has to review the USITC’s remedy.
